Holland- Kings day
27th of April
Kingsday is the biggest celebration in Holland and Amsterdam is the place to be.
Amsterdam attracts many visitors from all over Holland and other countries for the day. Nobody works on Kings day (unless you work in a bar) and the center of Amsterdam is traffic free for the whole day, making it one big playground. Enjoy the best DJ´s on the big squares or roam the streets and enjoy live music, performances and street food on every corner.

Germany-Oktoberfest

Beer, sausages and woman in Bavarian dresses, it’s the biggest beer festival in the world.

Hotel Bavaria, right next to the square with the large beer tents, if you like something a little more out of the way from the square Derag living hotel is a good choice, they are both small trendy hotels.
India-Holi
23 th of March
Festival of colors and love. A reminder of the symbolic victory of good over evil. It start with a bonfire the night before with people dancing and singing and the next day everyone friends, strangers, rich and poor play chase, dance and color each other on the streets.

If you won´t be able to travel to India, Ibiza does some Holi festivals at Benimussa park during the summer months.
Thailand-Songkran
13-15 th of April
The biggest water fight, let your inner child come out. Its the New Year Celebration and the traditional water pouring is meant as a symbol of washing away all of their sins and bad luck. And it is so welcoming in one of the hottest months of the year.

Thailand,Full moon party
In Koh phangan – Haadrin they celebrate the famous Full moon parties, but due to it’s great succes they now also celebrate, 1/2 Moon and Black moon parties with the best DJ’s from around the world. This town is croweded with backpackers and party people.

Uk-Glastonbury
Last weekend in June.
The biggest music festival in the Uk, and probably the largest greenfield festival in the world.

The majority will stay at the festival campgrounds but if you like to camp in style have a look at The pop up Hotel, next to the grounds, it´s pretty amazing.

Spain-Tomatina
Last Wednesday in August
It does not really appeal to me but if you love a bit of a food fight it’s great fun. A festival that started in 1945 with a food fight between youngsters on a parade during the fiestas and has grown into a big event with people visiting from all over.

In the centre of Buñol is Posada Venta Pilar a traditional Spanish rural Guesthouse-hotel.
Or stay in Valencia and travel to Buñol for the day, Valencia Flats are super clean and modern apartments in the center of Valencia.
South korea- mud festival
17-26 July
