This sandwich is delicious, fresh and healthy but make sure you use homemade hummus, less fat.
Ingredients
- Brown whole grain bread
For the hummus
- 2 cans of chickpeas
- 2 garlic clove
- 4 tsp tahini
- 3-4 tbsp lemon
- cajun powder to taste
- salt to taste
- cumin to taste (about 1-2 tsp)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Water to reach a smooth consistency
Rinse and wash the chickpeas, then mix all ingredients in a food processor and let it sit in the fridge for the flavours to combine.
For the topping use
- Diced tomatoes
- Diced cucumber
- Sprouts
- coriander
- Lemon sprinkle
- pepper and salt
