Vegetable and homemade hummus sandwich.

This sandwich is delicious, fresh and healthy but make sure you use homemade hummus, less fat.

  • Brown whole grain bread

For the hummus

  • 2 cans of chickpeas
  • 2 garlic clove
  • 4 tsp tahini
  • 3-4 tbsp lemon
  • cajun powder to taste
  • salt to taste
  • cumin to taste (about 1-2 tsp)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Water to reach a smooth consistency

Rinse and wash the chickpeas, then mix all ingredients in a food processor and let it sit in the fridge for the flavours to combine.

For the topping use
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Diced cucumber
  • Sprouts
  • coriander
  • Lemon sprinkle
  • pepper and salt
